LaVita dared to stand out in the german media landscape by commiting to the craft of animation.
"Health is something you only notice when it's missing." But how do you communicate something so fundamental yet invisible?
#
LaVita was looking for something different than the tenth explainer. I knew immediately I wanted to move beyond the typical problem/solution framework and instead explore how LaVita serves as a companion throughout life's journey, supporting the immune system and overall wellbeing.
#
After weeks of collaborative ideation with the team, we developed a narrative following our protagonist Eva and her family through different life stages, enriched by an organic visual metaphor illustrating how LaVita nourishes the billions of cells in our bodies.
#
During the concept phase, we crafted Eva's world and established a visual style designed to stand out in LaVita's competitive media landscape. What made this project exceptional was our client's commitment to craft and their deep understanding that details matter. This partnership allowed us to build every aspect of this world with care and intention.#

The team I curated and directed brought live to our concept and filled the world with lovingly handcrafted details.
Bringin these characters to life was a labour of love from the whole team involved. Careful planning and pre-production allowed us to punch above our weight.
We applied the same care to the inner world that acted as a metaphor for the billions of cells inside us.
In the end, the passion from client and artists alike paid of and resulted in a loveletter to animation that stood out in a sea of sameness.
We are all in this together.

Philosophy
Creative work isn't about sounding smart. It's not about chasing whatever's trending or performing genius for people who aren't paying attention anyway.

It's about saying something, in a way that actually lands.

Collaboration is harder than people admit. It means talking about your actual ideas, not the polished version you think people want to hear. It means asking dumb questions. It means ego is the enemy.

Mistakes aren't failures. That's become a cliché, but it's still true. Some of the best decisions start as accidents. Imperfections aren't the thing you fix before you ship, sometimes they're the whole point.

If something doesn't serve the idea, cut it. Doesn't matter how long it took or how clever it is. The work should feel inevitable, not assembled.

Curiosity keeps things from getting stale. The moment I think I've figured out how to do something, the work starts to die a little. Standing still feels safe. It isn't.

If we're not enjoying it at least some of the time, something's wrong — with the brief, the process, or both. Worth finding out which.
